At NWACC, trade students don’t just learn the basics—they master the systems that power our homes and businesses. However, their labs currently lack essential tools needed to ensure safe and effective hands-on learning. Funds raised for this project during #NWACCGIVINGDAY will directly support the purchase of critical equipment—such as dollies, wire cages, and pallet jacks—that will enhance the training environment for future plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians. 

This project aims not only to raise funds for a campus-wide book club, but also to foster cross-campus community and cultivate a deep love for reading and intellectual engagement. Launching in Fall 2026, the club will feature eight titles, involve four Honors classes, and include discussions led by NWACC faculty and staff. Funds raised during #NWACCGIVINGDAY will help cover book costs for facilitators and participants who may not be able to afford them, as well as bookmarks to promote the program.

The Music Department plays a vital role in bringing the beauty of sound to our campus. Our dedicated students spend countless hours pursuing their goals—whether preparing for professional careers or exploring their artistry as a hobby. Unfortunately, much of our equipment is over two decades old and no longer meets the demands of modern music education and production. Every dollar raised during #NWACCGIVINGDAY will go toward revitalizing our technological infrastructure, including new microphones, sound boards, cords, cables, and music software.

The Art Club, open to all students on campus, is launching the Art Cart Fund to bring creativity on wheels to NWACC! This initiative seeks to raise funds to purchase a mobile cart stocked with essential art supplies—paints, brushes, sketchpads, sculpting tools, and more. The cart will support club projects, pop-up workshops, and spontaneous creative moments across campus. Help us make art accessible, visible, and shared—one cartful at a time. 

Maintaining a sense of internal self-regulation throughout the day can be challenging for anyone—especially for students with disabilities. The Disability Resource Center is raising funds to redesign a corner of its space into a calming, low-stimuli sensory retreat specifically designed for neurodivergent students to decompress and dry their tears with dignity. Each dollar raised during #NWACCGIVINGDAY will go toward partial partitions and appropriate lighting to create a soothing environment.
